I'm going to try and sound as unbiased as possible when I write about this place, because I work here. We officially opened last Monday, December 5, 2011, and our grand opening was the weekend of December 10-11, 2011.
I've been to plenty of cupcake shops, and my friends and family can attest to that, but the cupcakes here are the epitome of perfection (okay, that sounded pretty biased). The owner (and baker) of the shop actually decided to forgo her career in nursing to do something she was really passionate about - baking. People always ask us, "What makes your shop so special?". There isn't really a standard answer, or any one thing that separates us from any other cupcake shop other than they're made with love (ha-ha, cliche answer) and that we're probably the first cupcake shop to open up in Scarborough. They aren't too sweet either (unlike other cupcake shops), so the taste won't leave you sick of eating cupcakes after one bite. When you get a chance, please drop by and let us know what you think!
